Knowing there is a lot of hate directed at this show due to Star Wars’ recent ups and downs, I’m happy to say that this is a pick-me-up. So far… The first two episodes aren’t on a new level or very original, but that’s okay because it works well throughout.
It gives me strong Treasure Planet vibes
The actors and their acting are great, the costumes and staging are probably the best we’ve seen since Andor, the writing, especially the funny banter between the kids, was good. Again, nothing new, but it’s fascinating nonetheless and I’m excited to keep watching.

As someone who hasn’t enjoyed recent Star Wars, Skeleton Crew surprised me. I hope anyone who is even slightly intrigued or even surprised by recent shows gives it a chance.

In this short video, IMDb tries to answer: Where the heck was Batman?. Colin Farrell fought hard to have his version of The Penguin smoke tobacco in The Batman (2022) but was unsuccessful.

Because of this, it is not enough – it hangs – and it is too stretched
The cast and production are great, but it’s like the original Twin Peaks: once the “big crime” is revealed, the story is over. Trying to prolong the story with extraneous plots becomes painful, as much as we enjoy spending time with these quirky characters.
